Efficient private Dutch courses :An intensive one week intensive Dutch course, learning Dutch through dialogue is the only really efficient full immersion Dutch language training. Learning Dutch through dialogue focusing on speaking Dutch about those topics you're really interested in. Vocabulary and sentences structures are learned and explained as they show up and related to basic living Dutch language structures you really need. This way of learning Dutch is interesting, even fascinating, and immediately useful. You learn the vocabulary and language structures you want to know, you need. A fully tailored one to one 30 to 40 hours Dutch course is all you need to be able to think and speak Dutch even if you never learned any Dutch. Of course this won't make you fully bilingual in 1 week. But, you will understand what people are talking about, grasp the sense of sentences and words. You will be able to answer in good understandable Dutch and ask your partner questions without fear not to understand what he's saying. You won't need to translate anymore, you'll be thinking in Dutch. You don't need more to get the grasp of good sentence structures without having to focus on grammar rules. That is only useful much later and only if you really need to write Dutch without mistakes.
Learning Dutch through full immersion:If you want yourself to learn Dutch quickly, ask for a full immersion Dutch course: 6 hours a day private one to one tuition including Dutch conversation during pauses at lunch and at diner. Eventually, if you really need it, you can book later for a week more to dig your vocabulary and become still more fluent, able to read Belgian newspapers, listen Flemish radio, watch Flemish TV and develop a more thorough knowledge of Dutch. Advanced training could focus on developing specific skills : pronunciation, negotiation, professional seminars, presentation of knowledge, writing etc.
The good environment to learn Dutch: Our Dutch courses are in Green Park Hotel in Sint Pieters Leeuw at the country side near Brussels. Do organize to be free that week, so you can spend all the time needed to immerse yourself in Dutch. Ideal would be you just relax. Homework ? At the end of each day Richard van Egdom, your teacher, will record some typical living Dutch sentence structures that showed up during the dialogue or in the texts we both discussed. Listening these records and repeating them is most effective to remember and integrate vocabulary too.
